Its business is based on naturally sustainable principles with the aim of proving that everything we need for our health and beauty we can find around us: in nature.<\/p>\n<p>Using the plants and raw materials, taken from their natural, autochthonous habitat from the region of Herzegovina and Southern Dalmatia in a combination with exclusively organic ones and with no artificial additives in cultivated plants and biologically\/organically licensed essential oils, it is our mission to bring nature closer to the man and to prove with our actions that we have to treat our nature and environment with awe and that the use of toxic, artificially obtained chemicals with instant effect damages our health. That is the reason why every one of our products is made as gluten-, paraben-, pesticides-, sulphate-, phthalate-, silicone-, emulsifier-free as well as with no harmful artificial preservatives, petroleum derivatives, artificial colours and perfumes.<\/p>\n<p>All products are hand-made, starting from picking the plants to the very realisation, because in addition to the natural ingredients we do not want to contaminate our products with the \u201eperfection\u201c of the machine. It is important to point out that none of our products has been tested on animals. All recipes have been scientifically clinically proved and they provide the biggest possible efficiency.<\/p>\n<h3>Why ARDIA?<\/h3>\n<p>The Ardiaei, an Illyrian tribe, which founded its state among the first ones in the area of the Neretva bank to the area of Vjosa River in Albania, was considered in the ancient time as one of the most powerful. Excellent seamen, warriors, but first of all skilled inventors. So, for example, they invented a kind of fast and small boats (which were later taken over by Romans and used by them in its conquests), known tunica \u201e<em>Dalmatika<\/em>\u201c (which was brought to Rome by Commodus, the Emperor, and it became an unavoidable clothing article of the Roman nobility). However, in addition to the warrior skill, they were famous in the ancient times also for the beauty of their women, gourmet way of living and for extremely developed sense of aesthetics for that period of time, by using the cosmetic preparations.<\/p>\n<p>Ancient writer Polybius spoke in its works how Romans had taken over and brought many therapeutic and cosmetic preparations to Rome by using the raw materials which they had produced by themselves from autochthonous herbs, often in combination with raw materials seized in many pirate invasions, by laying one of the foundations for ancient aromatherapy. We can find the recipes of individual preparations later also in Ovid&#8217;s work \u201e<em>Medicamina faciei<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Finding the inspiration in what this region was famous for in the ancient time, our mission is to bring the nature closer to the man and get the whole world acquainted with the richness of the therapeutic properties of the nature of our region.
